This job exists to ensure finished products are packaged and bulk trucks are filled in a safe, compliant, and timely manner to meet the required internal and external demands, specifications and regulations.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Packaging dry products into bags and liquid into drums, pails, totes and bulk trucks.
  • Timely filling of packaged finished products while maintaining equipment in a safe and clean manner.
  • Have the ability to troubleshoot while maintaining equipment in top condition.
  • Obtain sample and approval from lab. Sets up equipment, lines up appropriate transfer lines and fills packaging to schedule requirements.
  • Clears lines on completion and isolate valves and storage tanks as required. Follows guidelines at all times concerning product sampling and testing of finished product.
  • Complete a handover for on-coming shifts as appropriate.
  • Participates in safety equipment checks, training programs, and compliance audits as required.
  • Able to participate in accident / incident investigations. Also participates in PHA's and PSSR's where required.
  • Ensure 5 S activities are carried out in all areas. Inspect and keep work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Pursue all aspects of waste minimization (RCRA) to ensure proper disposition of products while understanding the process to generate waste on the site.

Physical Requirments:

  • Capable of lifting 55lbs during the course of a shift, could include excessive standing, walking, bending, and or climbing of stairs.
  • Operates forklift, for a variety of uses. Utilizes safe operation and sound maintenance practices with forklift trucks, and reports any repair needs.

Education:

  • High Scool Diploma

The expected compensation range for this position is between $39,600.00 and $66,100.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
