Position Title: IT Systems Engineer

Reports to: IT Project Manager

Subsidiary: Leisnoi Professional Solutions, LLC

Location: Arlington, VA

Job Status: Regular Full -Time



Position Summary:

Leisnoi Professional Solutions, LLC has an immediate need for a highly qualified and experienced IT Systems Engineer SME to drive the design, implementation, and optimization of advanced IT infrastructures. This position demands a proficient engineer with comprehensive expertise in systems architecture, cybersecurity, and cloud computing to support and enhance the company's technical landscape.



Responsibilities and Duties



  • Design and implement sophisticated IT systems and architecture aligned with organizational strategic goals.
  • Lead and manage the deployment of large and complex IT systems projects from inception to completion.
  • Provide expert guidance on system architecture and engineering practices to ensure scalability, security, and performance.
  • Conduct deep technical analysis to identify areas for improvement in existing infrastructure and propose potential solutions.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to align IT solutions with business needs and objectives.
  • Establish and maintain documentation for IT systems configurations, policies, and procedures to ensure knowledge continuity.
  • Proactively monitor system performance, identify issues, and coordinate with teams to implement effective solutions.
  • Lead efforts in implementing industry best practices for IT security and system compliance.
  • Cultivate a collaborative program environment that encourages innovation and team synergy.



Basic Qualifications and Skills Required



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT systems engineering with demonstrated success in managing large-scale IT projects


Required Skills and Competencies



  • Deep expertise in system architecture, with proficiency in designing systems for scalability and performance.
  • Mastery in system architecture and engineering, with a focus on cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Strong expertise in IT security protocols and practices, ensuring robust and secure IT environments.
  • Advanced problem-solving abilities and troubleshooting skills applicable to sophisticated technical challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in utilizing project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, and Confluence.
  • Proven track record of leadership in a technical team environment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance (TS/SCI).
