Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Business Manager II Spvr for the Dean's Office within the Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Collaborates on short- and long-range planning of all fiscal matters.
- Contributes to the planning and implementation of fiscal and administrative policy and procedures for the school.
- Oversees the operating budget, grants, contracts, endowments, and gifts.
- Oversees grant and contact pre- and post-award services and the intersection of personnel related projections and costs.
- Provides advice and counsel to the associate dean regarding all business, budget and financial matters.
- Establishes new and improves existing systems and procedures for financial controls.
- Prepares financial analysis reports for the associate dean, program and center directors, principal investigators, planning committees, and special projects.
- Supervises business staff as well as support staff that provide customer oriented shared services to Dean's office and centers throughout the school.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's degree and at least five years of financial management experience.

Certifications/Licenses |
- Must be certified or the ability to be trained to become certified as a Rutgers University business manager.

- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
