*Description*
This Solution Engineering team develops technologies that directly impact the quality, safety, and efficiency of healthcare. We are seeking a highly motivated software developer that is excited to learn, collaborate, and deliver high quality functionality to our products. This position will focus on supporting existing Java-based data processing systems through maintenance, support, enhancements, and from-scratch development work. Summary: Works closely with the Developers, Product Owners, Support/Integration Teams, and partners to design, develop, document, test and debug. This role will exercise strong analytical, troubleshooting, development, and testing skills across multiple data feeds, processes, technologies and repositories. Essential Functions: Essential functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1.Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs existing application code. 2.Proficient in Java development, OOP concepts, design patterns, and techniques. 3.Good experience in UI design and development using scripting language like ReactJS etc 4.Develop new UI features using React.js. Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use. 5.Development, maintenance for existing and new java features 6.Familiar with related application development technologies, such as HTML, XML, XSLT, JavaScript, security frameworks, testing frameworks, and open-source web servers such as Tomcat. 7.Uses related tools such as IDEs (e.g., Eclipse, IntelliJ), source control (branching, merging, versioning), build management (e.g., Jenkins, Gradle, Archiva), continuous integration, bash scripts, basic Linux commands, cron jobs, etc. 8.Participates in full development life cycle including requirements analysis, design, testing, deployment, and support. 9.Writes technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements. 10.Support, maintains, and documents application functionality. 11.Analyzes code to find causes of errors and revises applications as needed. 12.Participate in application design meetings to understand user needs and determine technical requirements. 13.Consults with product owners to prototype, refine, test and debug applications to meet needs. 14.Participates working in agile/scrum environment. *Top Skills Details* Java, react.js, ui design, ui development *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Attributes: *Adaptability and flexibility in a rapidly changing environment *Self-starter and self-motivated *Ambitious spirit - brings fresh ideas to the table and finds creative solutions to problems *Positive attitude with outstanding communication and listening skills Experience in healthcare is helpful but not required Experience and/or familiarity with the Agile and/or Scrum methodologies preferred Peer code review participation Education: *BS in computer science or related field *Experience Level* Intermediate Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
