Welder Location: Cudahy, WI Shift: 1st Shift - Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM Pay: $23-$28/hour (based on experience) Job Summary: We are seeking skilled and safety-conscious Welders to join our team in Cudahy, WI. This is a full-time, first-shift opportunity for individuals with experience in hardwire and/or metalcore welding who are committed to producing high-quality work in a collaborative environment. Knowledge of AWS D1.1 standards is a strong plus, as our welders are required to meet these qualifications. Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project specifications and welding requirements. Perform hardwire and/or metalcore welding on a variety of fabrications-no fluxcore welding at this time, but may be introduced in the future. Operate and work safely with jib cranes, overhead cranes, and forklifts to handle heavy materials and assemblies. Ensure welds meet quality standards through self-inspection and adherence to internal and industry standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace and perform routine maintenance on welding equipment. Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to ensure work stays on schedule and meets quality expectations. Qualifications: 2+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Proficient in hardwire and/or metalcore welding techniques; fluxcore knowledge is a plus for future use. Experience operating cranes and forklifts safely and efficiently. Familiarity with AWS D1.1 standards is preferred; ability and willingness to become certified. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to safety. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Dependable with strong attendance and a positive, respectful attitude.
