Location: Middleton, WI

Hybrid - 3 days onsite

At Fiskars Group, we've spent nearly four centuries crafting timeless, functional, and beautiful products that make everyday moments extraordinary. Now, we're looking for a detail-driven Engineering Support Specialist who thrives at the intersection of product data, engineering tools, and cross-functional collaboration.

This hands-on role combines Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) expertise, product data governance, and change management responsibilities to keep our product development process running smoothly-and to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data that powers our global business.

If you have a passion for engineering data, enjoy supporting teams with tools and processes, and want to make an impact in a company where heritage meets innovation, this could be your next great opportunity.

What You'll Do:

As an Engineering Support Specialist, you'll serve as a key user and subject matter expert for our CAD and PLM tools, supporting engineers and teams across the product lifecycle. You'll ensure product data is accurate, standards are met, and change processes are followed-all while helping to drive efficiency and collaboration across functions.

Your day-to-day may include:

  • Creating and maintaining product data structures and technical documentation from concept through end-of-life
  • Managing and driving engineering change management workflows and approvals as a change analyst
  • Partnering with engineering, industrial design, product management, supply chain, quality, and ecommerce to ensure product data accuracy and alignment
  • Supporting continuous improvement by monitoring data quality, training users, troubleshooting, and streamlining processes

What You Bring:

  • Education: Associate's degree in Engineering Technology (Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred)
  • Experience: 2-4 years of CAD, PDM, and PLM systems experience, ideally in a manufacturing or product development environment
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in 3D CAD/solid modeling (SolidWorks preferred), PLM tools (PTC Windchill, PTC FlexPLM), Microsoft Office, and technical writing
  • Competencies: Strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills; business acumen; results orientation; collaborative mindset
  • Bonus Skills: Knowledge of plastics and steel, metal forming, and injection molding; experience with Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator; exposure to sourcing, testing, or manufacturing processes

Why Fiskars Group?

Here, your expertise in data and process helps bring products to life. You'll join a team that values collaboration, precision, and innovation-while enjoying the stability of a company with a 375-year legacy. In Middleton, you'll find a hybrid schedule, a supportive and collaborative office culture, and teammates who care deeply about both products and people.

This is more than just a support role-it's a chance to shape how ideas move from concept to consumer, ensuring that every detail is right along the way.
