 Job Summary Functions in a drawing production engineering technician capacity. Under supervision, performs basic functions requiring technical knowledge utilizing electronic applications, processes, standards and document control processes/procedures for the purpose of creating or modifying deliverables. Evaluates methods used to accomplish the drafting and/or design activities. Key Responsibilities 
     Role will be responsible for drafting/design HDR Water projectsDevelop or modify deliverables based on rough sketches, marked-up copies and/or detailed verbal instructionsDevelop deliverables with necessary views, sections and details using Company and/or Client standards and procedures with supervisionLearn and understand project and Company standards and proceduresPerforms minor computations such as material quantity estimate, dimensional checks, etc, as assignedMay learn new programs or processes required for assignmentsContinuously evaluates methods used to accomplish the activities they have been assignedEnsures that the deliverables are compliant with Company and/or Client Standards, sketches, marked copies and written or verbal instructionsEffectively communicating and corresponding with team membersAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must Prefer experience/knowledge in one or more of the following 
     A minimum of 6 years experience in civil design with BIM programsCivil 3D experience, advanced userExperience with drafting/design in multiple software programs (school, internship, and/or work)Ability to Mentor and teach skills to new civil users Preferred Technical Competencies: 
     Intermediate knowledge of Computer Automated Drafting Design (CADD) or other applications or design or modeling skillsBasic knowledge of engineering standards, systems, document control, departmental guidesBasic industry knowledge and technology trendsBasic ability to interpret engineering deliverable content as assigned Preferred Non-Technical Competencies #LI-MV3
   Required Qualifications 
      Technical degree or a minimum of 3 years related industry experience Technically qualified with 3D design software and document management infrastructure Competency of Microsoft Office products and communication tools Experience with 3D Coordination tools Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational traits are essential Intermediate understanding of engineering or architectural conceptsWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
