Solution Architect

Key Role:

Develop solution architecture (SA) and resolve complex issues in a variety of projects through the implementation of requirements analysis, expertise support, and project supervision. Apply specific functional knowledge, including working and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance, and review or guide activities of more junior employees.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in scaling solutions
  • Knowledge of modern programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, and Node.js
  • Knowledge of major cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
  • Ability to effectively communicate and manage large technical projects
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Associate's degree and 7+ years of experience in software, design, software development, and software sustainment, or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in software, design, software development, and software sustainment

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in AF DCGS
  • Knowledge of common architecture design patters
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
