Data Engineer

This is an opportunity to work on an internally facing highly visible team that provides senior leadership with reporting and analytics that help them chart the path for the future of the enterprise. You will be supporting tactical and strategic data infrastructure, you'll have the chance to architect data systems, stand up data platforms, build out ETL pipelines, write custom code, interface with data stores, perform ingestion, and deploy models. From sharing your skills in analytical exploration and examination of data to supporting the assessment, design, building, and maintenance of scalable platforms, you'll work with our clients to solve their most pressing challenges.

You Have:

• 3+ years of experience writing software in programming languages, including Python, with object oriented programming, and with source control and collaboration software, including Git or Atlassian tools
• 3+ years of experience with extract, transform, load (ETL) operations, including on-premises or cloud infrastructure
• Experience managing data objects and data pipelines across multiple environments such as Dev, Test, and Prod
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational database technologies, including SQL or SparkSQL
• Knowledge of automation and scripting on Linux or Windows operating systems
• Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI and best practices for preparing data for data visualization tools
• Knowledge of data modeling techniques, such as star schema, snowflake, and normalized or denormalized structures, to support analytics and machine learning
• Ability to leverage AI assisted tools to debug, optimize, and accelerate the software development lifecycle
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with Databricks Lakehouse
• Experience with Tableau and or Power BI Row level security
• Experience developing and presenting complex technical information for both technical and non-technical audiences, and senior leaders
• Experience in working with integrated groups comprised of data engineers, data scientists, and Business Intelligence Developers
• Knowledge of Machine Learning techniques and methodologies
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
• Cloud development Certification, Databricks, AWS, or Azure Certification
