Position Overview:


The Integration Project Manager Manages activities associated with the design, development, and configuration of Interface solutions and architectural frameworks into client organizations. Work as a Interface Project manager for projects that include but not limited to:
* Practice management interfaces
* Clinical interfaces (LIS, RIS, Departmental Reports, Progress Notes, Devices, Smartpumps, Vitals etc )
* Community-wide interoperability
* MACRA related interfaces- Immunization registry, Syndromic surveillance, Direct, Lab reporting, state HIE
* Community Analytics
* Accountable Care Organizations
* Third Party custom vendor integrations (e.g: ERP systems, Telemetry etc)


Responsibilities;


* Facilitates meetings with clients to gather and document requirements and explore solutions
* Act as an analyst for any new development request and scope out the functional specification document.
* Oversees project plans, and designs complex interface flows and makes recommendations to improve and support client's business and workflow needs
* Analyzes and documents client's business requirements and processes; constructs project plans and scope documents to communicate requirements
* Provides time estimates for project related tasks
* Creates and remains informational with latest interoperability technology and company's development roadmap to understand the business domains
* Be a team player and create documentation and share knowledge gathered with the entire team


Detailed Responsibilities:


Project Planning and Design:
* Defining integration scope and objectives based on the client requirement and need. Engage with the vendor to build the integration in the required standard.
* Identifying critical integration points and dependencies between systems
* Developing detailed integration plans and timelines and sharing them with required stakeholders.
* Creating data mapping and migration strategies


Project Execution/Implementation:
* Manage multiple full implementation projects across the project life cycle along with project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.
* Monitor or track project milestones and deliverables and effectively communicate relevant project information to superiors and other key stake holders.
* Hold regular status meetings with the project team and direct or coordinate activities of project personnel and assign duties, responsibilities, and spans of authority to project personnel.
* Ensure that all assigned projects are executed correctly maintain customer satisfaction along with attaining the desired outcome in cost, quality and delivery time frames.
* Discuss business workflow with the customer and understand customer limitations and propose alternatives/workarounds


Team Management:
* Assembling and leading cross-functional integration teams to execute this project successfully
* Assigning tasks and responsibilities to team members to help meet the client requirements
* Facilitating communication and collaboration between different teams as required
* Monitoring team progress and addressing potential roadblocks


Technical Oversight:
* Reviewing technical specifications with vendors and clients
* Identifying and resolving technical integration issues with external or internal stakeholders
* Managing interface development and testing processes for effective testing of the scope defined.
* Ensuring data quality and consistency across systems


Risk Management:
* Identifying potential integration risks and developing mitigation plans
* Monitoring risks throughout the integration process
* Proactively addressing and escalating critical issues


Document and resource management
* Ensure that the project documentations are complete, current, and stored/archived appropriately in the CRM tool.
* Track and report hours spent on regular basis, utilizing CRM tool.
Manage executive client relationships and expectations
* Resolve difficult situations and share sensitive information tactfully and establish and execute a project plan in an effective manner.
* Develop lasting relationships with client personnel that foster client ties and set and manage client expectations


Requirements:


* Bachelor's Degree required.
* HL7 and / or Project Management knowledge and skills.


Preferred Requirements:


* Master's Degree preferred.
* eClinicalWorks EMR and Practice Management Product Knowledge preferred.
* Technical background is strongly preferred. Every interface comes with its unique limitations and an Ideal candidate will be one who can think of alternatives and propose solutions.
* Must be willing to travel to meet with customers and make official trips (as needed).
