The opportunity Join Hitachi Energy's Service Business and help keep the power grid running safely and reliably. In this role, you'll turn operational complexity into smooth, ontime material flow-leading warehouse and shipping activities, maintaining inventory accuracy, and partnering across production, procurement, quality, and logistics. You'll build leadership experience by coaching a highperforming team, expand your systems expertise with SAP/Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), and develop lean, 5S, and HSE knowhow-skills that travel with you across the energy sector and open doors to broader supply chain and operations leadership paths. How you'll make an impact
Lead daily warehouse, receiving, and shipping operations. Optimize storage, floor utilization, and inventory levels. Maintain accurate records in SAP/Extended Warehouse Management (EWM). Drive cycle counts and resolve inventory discrepancies. Coordinate with production, procurement, and quality for material availability. Ensure safe handling, preservation, and timely dispatch of materials and finished goods. Supervise and coach warehouse team members to high performance. Partner with carriers and logistics providers for ontime, costeffective deliveries. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your background
Education or training in Warehouse Management, Inventory, Logistics, or equivalent on-the-job experience. Minimum 5 years' experience in warehouse operations, preferably within manufacturing or high-voltage sectors. At least 2 years' experience supervising warehouse staff. Strong skills in inventory management and proficiency with SAP/EWM or similar warehouse management systems. Demonstrated commitment to safety, environmental management, and lean/5S principles. Valid driver's license and ability to operate material handling equipment. Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
