Material Handler

Staffmark is now hiring a Material Handler in Dallas, TX! If you're looking to grow your logistics or warehouse career, this is a great opportunity to join a supportive team and work in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you'll be responsible for processing inbound and outbound shipments to ensure smooth operations.

Pay: $18/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Safely load and unload deliveries using forklifts, dollies, or hand trucks
• Verify quality and quantity of incoming materials against packing slips and immediately report discrepancies
• Notify supervisor of any overages, substitutions, or major issues with shipments
• Stage received materials in designated areas for inventory or production
• Create shipping and receiving documentation in the inventory system
• Inspect incoming materials for quality standards and reject if not compliant
• Maintain accurate inventory records using MRP/ERP systems
• Stage products for outgoing shipments and coordinate with carriers
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience in shipping/receiving, logistics, or related field
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good organizational and time management abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with cycle counting, order picking, and working within an MRP/ERP system
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs as needed
