General Maintenance Worker

Staffmark is hiring a reliable and hands-on General Maintenance Worker to support our partner company in Jersey Village, TX. If you're a problem-solver with a strong work ethic and a desire to grow in a skilled trade environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Pay: $16/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and identify equipment or machinery in need of repair
• Perform general maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities
• Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of property, office, and production areas
• Repair drywall, doors, and other building fixtures as needed
• Assist with plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, and other building systems
• Operate vehicles and equipment for storage or material removal
• Complete other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in general labor, maintenance, warehouse, or similar roles is a plus
• Familiarity with pallet jacks, forklifts, or similar equipment is helpful
• Ability to handle a physically demanding workload
• Willingness to adapt to changing tasks throughout the workday
• Ability to follow verbal instructions and adhere to safety guidelines
