 Oversee day to day operations of Finance Department, namely credit, AR, AP (Centralized Accounting), payroll, and general cashierDevelop an engaged, enthusiastic and service driven team of finance professionalsAssist in the talent selection process and talent management cycle, and performance management of team members.Assist in the preparation of financial operating statements and reports in accordance with Corporate Policies, procedures, and regulationsAssist departments in the interpretation, orientation, training and analysis of revenue, payroll and expense mattersMaintain system of accounts and controls, providing accurate data necessary for all required accounting reports and statementsActively involved in ensuring clean internal and external audit reports through compliance with all standards, policies, and proceduresPrepare and post journal entries, ensuring efficient completion of all month-end functions for review with the Director of Finance & Business SupportMonitor, supervise and prepare month-end balance sheet account reconciliation and analysisParticipate in the creation of the Annual Operating & Capital Budgets, Strategic Plan and Monthly Operating ForecastsCoordinate and ensure that all daily, semi-monthly and monthly management reports are issued on a timely and accurate basisAssist in the effective utilization and integration of hotel and financial technology systems, including software applications, current and futureAssist Departmental Leaders with financials, systems, audit, and labor management toolsActively contribute to hotel overall leadership and directionOther tasks as assigned Qualifications
 
 Minimum of 3 years leadership experience in accepted accounting practices and principles requiredUniversity/College degree in a related discipline requiredExcellent communication and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detailProven leadership and coaching skills with a track record of developing highly motivated and cross-trained group of progressive finance professionalsHigh level of proficiency with finance systems and Microsoft Office Applications, namely Excel, GFS/SUN, Hyperion, POS Silverware, and Opera CloudAbility to lead by example, believe in a strong team culture and set the scene for high performance Additional Information
