Position Description

The Human Resources Generalist will perform a variety ofhuman resources tasksrelatedto administrative, talent acquisition and development activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment Process: You independently manage the recruitments you are responsible for and have a strong understanding of a process-oriented approach to recruitment (for example: New Hire orientation, update Job Descriptions, screen resumes and application forms, schedule, confirm and participate in applicant interviews).
  • Competence Development Process: You ensure that employee development conversations are conducted with quality and that managers understand the importance of goal setting and development plans for employees.
  • Performance Management: You are confident in handling labor law issues and can manage various personnel matters independently, prepare HR-related reports as needed, support with administrative stuff like maintaining accurate information on employees in Kronos, ADP and personnel files.
  • As an HR Business Partner, you are expected to confidently support and guide the organization from an HR expert function, in line with our processes.
  • Assist with BBS Audits/Safety Audits
  • Special Human Resource projects as directed
Required Education & Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree in Business or related field and at least 5 years human resources experience or equivalent experience
  • Ability to foster and maintain positive working relationships with staff and otherpersonnel.
  • Must exercise considerable judgment and discernment in all contact with employees, supervisors, applicants and visitors.
  • Experience with office equipment, you have a strong understanding of HR administrative; the flow between HR and payroll, headcount reporting, etc.
  • Proficient in computer software programs
  • Must possess personal qualities related to respect for the rights and confidentiality of others.
  • It's a plus, but not a requirement, if you have worked with HR issues in one or more industrial companies and have experience with SAP SuccessFactors.
