As a Culinary Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing the culinary offerings of our convenience store chain. Your expertise will drive menu innovation, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create delightful food experiences while ensuring operational excellence.

"Gauges" of Responsibility

  • Menu Creation and Development:

  • Assist with creating a diverse menu that caters to our customer base, considering category strategies, taste preferences, dietary trends, and convenience.

  • Create exciting LTOs to drive foot traffic and boost sales. These could be seasonal specials, themed promotions, or unique menu items.

  • Use data-driven insights to tailor the menu and improve customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with category management to align menu offerings with overall business strategy.

  • Cost Analysis and Budget Management:

  • Conduct thorough cost analyses for menu items, factoring in ingredients, labor, and overhead.

  • Optimize recipes to maintain quality while controlling costs.

  • Collaborate with Category Management to manage budgetary constraints.

  • Balance quality and affordability while maintaining customer satisfaction.

  • Ingredient Utilization:

  • Innovate ways to maximize ingredient utilization, minimize waste, and maintain consistent quality.

  • Explore sustainable sourcing options and promote responsible ingredient practices.

  • Collaboration with Category Management:

  • Work hand-in-hand with category managers to align culinary offerings with overall business strategy.

  • Understand category performance metrics and market trends to adjust menu items accordingly.

  • Collaboration with Commercialization & Food Safety:

  • Assist in developing and maintaining SOPs for kitchen operations with Commercialization Team. These SOPs ensure consistency in food preparation, safety protocols, and cleanliness.

  • Assist with training kitchen staff on SOPs and monitor compliance.

  • Collaboration with Marketing:

  • Support the rollout of new menu items

  • Contribute feedback for marketing materials, including descriptions, visuals, and pricing.

  • Participate in product launches and promotional events.

  • Contribute to marketing campaigns by providing culinary expertise.

  • Passion for Food and Creativity:

  • Stay updated on food trends, culinary/equipment techniques, and industry innovations.

  • Bring enthusiasm and creativity to the team/ kitchen.

Pay Range:

$77,400.00 - $116,200.00

The pay range for this position is outlined above. The final amount offered at the start of employment is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, experience level, knowledge, skills, abilities and geographic location, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
