Duties/Responsibilities
Support Honors programming planning
Description: Communicate with faculty regarding upcoming lectures, discussions, or other professional appearances after the Program Coordinator or Assistant Dean has established contact, including scheduling event dates, taking food orders, and sending reminders. Write event announcements for dissemination via the Honors Listserv and Honors Student Network. Create and distribute surveys to student attendees. Email students regarding event registration and answer basic student questions. Place book orders. Order catering and submit invoices to business office. Communicate with various vendors as needed.

Duties/Responsibilities
Provide logistical and personnel support
Description: Create and print signs, sign-in sheets, and other materials. Receive and organize food deliveries. Move canned drinks from storage to fridge to event spaces, and return unused drinks to fridge or storage once event is done. Set up before and clear classrooms after lunchtime lectures. Help with occasional information sessions for various engagement and programming areas. Assist with interviewing undergraduate candidates for Honors Teaching Assistantships.

Complete other data-keeping and organizational tasks
Description: Create interview schedules for programs like Honors in Washington and Fulbright. Clean up and fact check contact spreadsheets to be used in publicity efforts for competition cycles. Download and store student applications, reports, and photos for internal awards. Roll out end-of-semester evaluations to gather data on the first-year student experience.

Update Assistant Dean and Program Coordinator calendars
Description: Mark event dates, to-do list items, and other reminders in team member Outlook calendars at the beginning of the semester. Add additional items as events are booked throughout the semester. Cancel and rearrange calendar items as needed.
