Software Developer, Senior

The Opportunity:

At a certain point, software design can start to look like clairvoyance. You've developed so many organization-wide software architectures that you can not only orchestrate the best solution for any technical challenge, but you can also anticipate future concerns. That's because you're a software architect who specializes in designing and building complex software solutions, with a solid background in DevSecOps environments, Agile methodologies, and modern cloud technologies. At Booz Allen, you can use those skills to improve the software technology supporting Army projects.

On our team, you'll translate your customer's software needs and future goals into a plan by developing and implementing effective software solutions, implement and maintain DevSecOps practices within Agile teams, provide technical guidance, stay current with emerging technologies, oversee front-end and back-end development, manage SQL and NoSQL databases, drive UI/UX development with modern JavaScript frameworks, optimize system efficiency, manage project tasks and timelines, and foster collaboration between cross-functional teams and stakeholders. You'll use the latest software control systems like Docker and Kubernetes for containerization, Azure and AWS for cloud services, React, Angular, and Vue for front-end development, PostgreSQL and MongoDB for database management, and industry-standard tools for continuous integration and automated testing to design an effective software architecture. Your technical expertise will be vital as you lead the building of scalable, reliable, and intuitive software solutions that encompass both front-end user interfaces and back-end systems, leveraging cloud platforms, containerization technologies, and modern development frameworks.

Work with us as we transform the future of technology for the better.
