Salary: $111.47-123.86 Hourly up to $123.86/hr
As a User Experience (UX) Researcher, you are an expert in your field. You use your knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods to conduct moderately complex research projects with little-to-no oversight. You communicate your findings clearly and concisely, and your work has a direct impact on product strategy and decision-making. You actively contribute to the field of UX research, collaborating with others and finding new ways to improve the user experience. You are a fully trusted, senior member of the team and may be recognized as a lead in a particular area, project, or initiative. Responsibilities include:
- Propose ideas to improve products and services through research-driven insights and recommendations. Drive user-centric thinking to unblock partners and collaboratively solve constraints in strategy, product, or technology. Advocate for and practice inclusive research and design, promoting the creation of inclusive products.
- Guide product strategy through research by analyzing, consolidating, and synthesizing knowledge about users, products, services, or business needs. Create and communicate research findings, insights, and recommendations that demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of both users and business objectives. Partner with cross-functional teams to extend the impact and visibility of research.
- Identify, create, and effectively use key insights and metrics to evaluate product, service, and ecosystem impact. Leverage a broad and deep understanding of business goals, product ecosystems, user trends, and industry context to guide research-driven, user-centric decision-making.
- Contribute to developing project priorities in alignment with larger goals and coordinate allocation of resources within the project. Act on opportunities to expand responsibilities within and beyond the product team. Anticipate and remove roadblocks that may impede progress.
- Conduct research to identify user needs and business opportunities that guide product and business goals. Perform research that increases user empathy and informs a shared vision and strategy with cross-functional partners.
- Anticipate evolving user needs and research opportunities by adapting the research strategy for large or complex projects. Drive or execute comprehensive analysis, such as defining and implementing qualitative or quantitative frameworks, or developing and managing surveys that define strategic priorities for products across teams.
- Build consensus and influence teams to gain support for research-based, user-centric solutions. Communicate research insights and recommendations to partners and stakeholders, proactively addressing challenges and questions.
