Our clients is looking for an organized, proactive merchandiser and partner relations coordinator. You'll join a business/editorial team committed to connecting readers and listeners to the stories, information, and inspiration ebooks and audiobooks contain. Their goal is to help users discover their next read or listen, no matter their interest, as they build a library that will enrich their lives.

The ideal candidate for this role is a highly organized digital merchandiser, with a strong editorial background and/or a curiosity about the publishing business. In this role, you will work closely with other members of the team in merchandising the ebook and audiobooks storefronts, curating a rich discovery experience and driving business objectives. You will also help to maintain business relationships with publisher partners and collaborate with cross-functional teams, which means excellent communication skills are essential.

Key Qualifications:



  • Passion for books-reading or listening
  • Minimum 2 years experience working with content management systems and databases
  • Experience in sales, marketing, or merchandising in the digital space
  • Experience in the book/audiobook industry or with digital media preferred
  • Experience working with outside partners and growing business relationships.
  • Outstanding organizational skills, with experience establishing and implementing processes to maximize efficiency
  • Scrupulous attention to detail
  • Flexibility, with proven ability to handle multiple priorities and pivot quickly between tasks
  • Ability to quickly master new applications and systems
  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to collaborate within the team and with a broader cross-functional group as needed
  • Strong social and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to analyze and communicate results clearly and effectively to leaders with proficiency in Excel/Numbers and Keynote


Education



  • A Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience.
