At our Fort Worth Distribution Center, we're looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Warehouse Apprentices, an entry-level opportunity designed to build your skills and launch your career in supply chain operations.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:

• $20.00/hr.
• Benefits start after 30 days

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH:

• Follow all Nestle standard operating procedures related to Safety, Quality, Operations, and People
• Participate in structured training and mentorship to learn how to operate powered industrial trucks
• Load/unload trucks, stage product, and manage inventory in warehouse racking and staging areas
• Pick and assemble mixed product pallets for customer orders
• Lift/carry up to 35 lbs. frequently and up to 65 lbs. occasionally
• Operate computer terminals and barcode scanners to execute job duties
• Conduct inventory control activities including cycle counts and physical verification
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area
• Process damaged product and perform recoup sorting
• Perform general housekeeping and equipment maintenance tasks
• Demonstrate regular, on-time attendance and flexibility to work overtime as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
• Previous warehouse/forklift experience not necessary but helpful

SKILLS:

• Basic command of the English language (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Basic Math including counting, addition, subtraction, and multiplication
• Basic computer knowledge and use
• Ability to communicate and function in a team environment
• Ability to troubleshoot basic problems and take appropriate corrective action
