Location: This is a remote role. We are ideally seeking candidates in Eastern, Central, or Mountain Time Zones.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineers to develop new products and improve existing ones
  • Perform Signal Integrity design, simulation, and test/measurement as part of a cross-functional Product Development team
  • Use ANSYS Electromagnetic Suite for signal integrity simulations
  • Conduct test and measurement activities using Network Analyzers or Time Domain Reflectometers (TDRs)
  • Work on products such as coaxial connectors, cable assemblies, board-to-board connectors/arrays, and antennas
  • Design and develop test vehicles including test PCBs and fixtures to validate or qualify product performance
  • Provide customer support for both new and existing products
  • Interact with customers to understand performance requirements for new products
  • Create PCB launch recommendations for customers using our PCB connectors
  • Support Production and Quality teams as needed
  • Establish optimal Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) settings to improve production speed and accuracy
  • Provide consultation for failure analysis and quality assurance

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • At least one year of product design experience with a basic understanding of materials, mechanics, and manufacturing processes and tools
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • 1 year of experience in the use of signal integrity simulation software

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Ability to apply Electromagnetic Theory and analyze S-parameters
  • Experience with Ansys Electromagnetics Suite (HFSS, SIwave, Designer, etc.)
  • Experience with Vector Network Analyzers (VNA), Time Domain Reflectometers (TDR), and Oscilloscopes
  • Simulation and testing of coaxial cables, connectors and/or antennas
  • Knowledge of High Speed Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design
For this role, we anticipate paying $90,000-$110,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
