QUALIFICATIONS



  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid NM Driver's License with an acceptable "clean" DMV record
  • Leadership skills
  • Minimum two years warehouse and supervisory experience
  • Experience in retail merchandising
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check


RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Schedule pricers/sorters/warehouse workers/drivers to ensure coverage in the warehouse at all times
  • Coordinate beneficiaries in-service training for occupational safety, first aid, work therapy rehabilitation components, etc
  • Facilitate an environment of cooperation between the Production Dept and the Program Dept especially as it relates to the counseling and clinical elements of the beneficiary's participation in this program.
  • Support the spiritual principles and attitudes of this program as it relates to beneficiary participation and employee involvement
  • Employ and enforce and attitude of "dignity and respect" as it relates to the interpersonal relationships of all employees and/or beneficiaries
  • Supervise warehouse staff to maintain a high level of performance
  • Provide training for new staff
  • Function as a contact in dealing with donors and the community at large in matters such as pick-up services, employee conduct, etc
  • Supervise the loading and unloading of the truck
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are followed and implement disciplinary measures when necessary, after consultation with Retail Manager and Administrator and local HR Coordinator
  • Provide excellent Customer Service at all times
  • Responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory of goods on hand
  • Work in conjunction with the Thrift Store Managers to provide the most sellable stock for the store
  • Ensure warehouse property and all vehicles are property maintained and cleaned
  • Identify and report all safety hazards in and around the warehouse
  • Secure warehouse and inventory at the end of the day
  • Ensure that work areas are kept neat and clean to prevent hazards
  • Immediately report to supervisor all accidents/injuries/property damage
  • Any other duties as assigned by your immediate supervisor as they relate to the position of Warehouse Manager

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must have the ability to operate telephone, a desktop or laptop computer, as well as the ability to access and produce information from a computer, and to understand written information.
