Salary Range:$68,800 - $103,400

2+ years of experience: $66,800 - $91,700

3+ years of experience: $77,600 - $103,400

These ranges reflect what BNSF Railway reasonably expects to pay for this position, based on the role's level, scope, and responsibilities. Final compensation and position level will be determined by factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. In addition to base pay and bonus eligibility, BNSF offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Training for this position includes on-the-job training and system-specific onboarding.

Key responsibilities may include:

Oversee and support the daily operation of our Talent Acquisition (TA) technology stack, including Phenom, SuccessFactors Recruiting and Onboarding 2.0, sourcing platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed), and other recruiting tools.

Provide Tier 2 support for TA systems by troubleshooting issues, managing user permissions, conducting release testing, and maintaining process documentation and templates.

Lead and support the evaluation, implementation, and optimization of recruiting technologies (ATS, CRM, sourcing platforms) by managing full project lifecycles-identifying business needs, assessing solutions, defining requirements, developing and managing project plans, coordinating stakeholders, facilitating user acceptance testing, and delivering training and post-launch support to ensure adoption and continuous improvement.

Assist in evaluating and implementing AI and automation tools that align with business objectives and standards -enhancing outcomes, increasing operational efficiency, and improving user experiences

Serve as the recruiting data subject matter expert and reporting lead.

Design and deliver dashboards, KPIs, and reports to uncover trends and drive process improvements, while conducting regular system audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with legal and company standards.

Evaluate, design, build, and implement recruiting processes to reduce friction - improving operational efficiency and candidate / recruiter experiences (e.g. templates, workflows, automation)

Partner with cross-functional stakeholders-including HR Business Partners, HRIS, Technology, and Workforce Planning-to deliver integrated systems and processes that enable seamless execution and promote operational cohesion across the enterprise.

Daily work is conducted in an indoor office environment.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Able to work now and in the future without BNSF's assistance (whether monetary, through sponsorship, or otherwise) in obtaining, maintaining, or extending employment authorization (including H-1B, STEM OPT/CPT, or TN nonimmigrant status)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting talent acquisition systems or HR technologies
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), candidate relationship management (CRM) platforms, and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn and Indeed
  • Experience in system troubleshooting, user support, and maintaining process documentation
  • Demonstrated ability to apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making in fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, look-ups, visualizations
  • Strong ability to spot opportunities and deliver impactful process improvements
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with a focus on systems, analytics, or process improvement
  • Experience with SuccessFactors Recruiting and/or Onboarding 2.0
  • Experience with Phenom platform
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional, technical rollouts to a successful outcome
  • Experience with business intelligence platforms (Power Query, Power BI, Tableau, etc) to aggregate/transform data, analyze trends, visualize metrics, and support data-driven decision-making
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Automate /or Power Apps to streamline recruiting workflows and build custom HR solutions
  • Familiarity with AI and/or automation tools used in recruiting processes
  • Proven ability to design, build, and implement recruiting technologies and processes that improve candidate experience, increase HR productivity, and deliver measurable business outcomes
  • Experience supporting candidate experience initiatives, sourcing, and recruiting events
