Assist in the Development of in-depth Technical Account Plans. Design systems, applications, and infrastructure to help drive software development projects using MongoDB. Advise customers on architectures, patterns, and strategies for making the best use of MongoDB. Expertly articulate the business value of MongoDB solutions. Align to support sales with activities such as technical discovery, demos, proof of value, presentation, sizing, and documentation of technical decision criteria, working across a number of opportunities in parallel. Translate technical concepts and patterns into business benefits for management and executives. Act as a liaison, collecting feedback from the field to relay back to the Product Management team. Help drive demand through participation in both industry-known tradeshows as well account-based marketing events. Demonstrate resilience and sound judgment in dealing with business challenges. Proactively seek opportunities to support and mentor other pre-sales team members and share standard methodologies. Remote enablement of local Solution Architect teams. Remote enablement of wider area Account Executive teams. Best Practices & POV (Proof of Value) reviews for member of the team. Active member of the Slack SA Community providing feedback and guidance for the company on technical matter. Ensure team can articulate MongoDB's Value Proposition Effectively by Providing Education and Mentoring Sessions. Recognizes opportunities to coach and mentor across the broader SA organization. Presents at formal technology events (AWS ReInvent, etc.), public speaking engagements, particularly MongoDB World (Yearly or as Needed). Marketing Webinars and Blog Posts. 30% domestic travel required. Must appear in office 2 days per week; WFH permissible 3 days per week. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Application Development or related field and six (6) years of experience in Solution Architecture, Application Development or in job offered or a related role. Experience and/or education must include: 1. MongoDB Certified, including both DBA and Developer Certifications; 2. At least one Cloud Solution Architect Certification:AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, or Google Professional Cloud Architect Certification; 3. Experience building prototype applications for prospective clients with at least two of the following: MariaDB, AWS Aurora, PostgaccereSQL, CosmosDB, or Document DB; 4. Experience with at least two of the following: Java, C#, Python, or Node.js; 5. Size highly complex MongoDB Environments involving Multi-Terabyte, Multi- Shard, or Multi-Product environments; 6. Hyperscaler Cloud Networking Infrastructure (Google, Amazon, or Microsoft) architecting and implementing MongoDB solutions;
