    DESCRIPTION OF WORK
   
 
    In this role, you will perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks related to the repair and maintenance of machinery, buildings, bridges, and equipment. This work requires proficiency in multiple trades and the ability to independently determine the best methods and procedures for each task. You will be involved in repairing roofs, installing flashing, gutters, and downspouts, as well as fixing doors, door frames, and furniture. Your carpentry duties will include fabricating and installing temporary partitions, building forms, and using various power and hand tools. Additionally, you will paint both the interior and exterior of buildings and carry out masonry work related to structures, foundations, walkways, and walls. You will play an essential role in ensuring the safety of the traveling public. Work assignments require knowledge and proficiency in the trades of carpentry, masonry, electrical, and plumbing.  Work Schedule and Additional Information:  
     Full-time employmentWork hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.Work schedule is subject to change due to weather/seasonTelework: You will not have the option to telework in this position. Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $40,685 (before taxes).     QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: 
     Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); orFour years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; orAny equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities. Special Requirements: 
     This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License. Additional Requirements:
