Security Officer - Armed Industrial Patrol

As a Security Officer - Armed Industrial Patrol in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a busy manufacturing and industrial location. You will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location, including both the business interior and perimeter areas.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity through visible presence and consistent patrols.
• Monitor and report any suspicious activity or security-related hazards encountered during patrols.
• Enforce access control policies by verifying identification and credentials of personnel entering restricted areas.
• Document all incidents and observations in detailed, timely reports for Allied Universal and client management.
• Assist with emergency response activities, including coordinating with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
• An active armed guard card or license is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Having experience in primarily driving posts is preferred.
• Current CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
