| Program Manager MED-CORE-INFD Full Time 86684BR Job Summary UCSF and the UC Berkeley-UCSF Innovative Genomics Institute (IGI) seek an experienced project manager who will provide critical programmatic management support for a unique academic-industry alliance centered around designing, testing, manufacturing, and advancing through clinical trial a next-generation gene-editing-based system for in vivo CAR-T engineering at ultra-low costs to cure difficult cancers. The position will report to the key academic PIs at UCSF and UC Berkeley and liaise closely with academic co-investigators, Danaher Operating Companies, and the federal sponsors. Primary responsibilities will be for project management duties to enable execution and harmonization across all program efforts (including a range of administrative workstreams) and ensuring timely progress toward milestones. The person hired will develop and maintain an operational infrastructure that enables cross-institutional collaboration between project leads at UCSF, UC Berkeley, Stanford, Ohio State, and key contributors at multiple Danaher Operating Companies such as Cytiva, IDT, Aldevron, and others. They will also be responsible for assisting preparing timely financial and compliance reporting to federal agencies. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $87,900 - $187,700 (Annual Rate). The mission of the Department is research, education, patient care and public service. The Department has more than 750 full-time faculty at four sites - UCSF Health, Veteran's Administration Medical Center, San Francisco General Hospital, and UCSF Fresno - and approximately 60 divisions. Central Administration at the Parnassus sites is responsible for directing the administrative functions of the Department via its sites and divisions, including the provision of research administration services for its faculty.
