Job Description

Job Objective: Partner with the VP of Industrial Lubricants and Services to drive profitable growth by leading the design, execution, and continuous improvement of commercial operations. This role ensures sales, operations, and finance are aligned through data-driven processes, tools, and KPIs that directly shape strategic decisions, optimize resources, and improve overall business performance.



Key Responsibilities



  • Build a Job Costing Model that will provide the leadership team with a profitability lens on pricing, staffing, operational execution and customer strategy decisions.
  • Redesign commission workbook for faster, more accurate, and transparent calculations.
  • Help lead the transition from revenue-based commissions to profitability-based incentives and ensure commissions align sales behavior with organizational goals.
  • Establish executive-level dashboards covering Sales, Operations, and Back Office performance to equip leadership with real-time visibility into performance and enabling proactive decision making.
  • Collaborate with FP&A to build an Industrial Customer Performance Dashboard that enables strategic account reviews and directs resources toward growth with high-value industrial customers.
  • Leverage IIR, ZoomInfo, and industry reports to identify market opportunities and partner with Business Development to target outages and growth segments.
  • Partner with Marketing and Business Development develop a Strategic Accounts Planning process in Salesforce that enables strategic account development, cross-selling, and greater share-of-wallet with key customers.
  • Support the Salesforce & Operational Process Redesign effort. Redefine sales pipeline stages and simplify opportunity management and transition critical workflows from spreadsheets and email into DM2 and Salesforce.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business leadership, providing insight and recommendations on operational efficiency, profitability trends, and market opportunities.
  • Influence strategic initiatives by presenting data-backed options for labor allocation, customer prioritization, and process improvement.


Qualifications



  • 10+ years of experience in Commercial Operations, Sales Operations, Finance or related leadership roles.
  • Proven expertise in building profitability models, dashboards, and KPIs that drive executive decisions.
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce and BI tools.
  • Strong ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations.
  • Industrial, distribution, or services industry experience preferred.
