Security Officer - CRE Patrol Specialist

As a Security Officer - CRE Patrol Specialist in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a welcoming presence for all occupants and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to potential concerns, and provide outstanding customer service through clear communication and professional interactions. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities according to site procedures.
• Assist visitors and tenants by providing directions and answering questions related to the location.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel when required by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel and/or customer service experience is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
