As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned educational locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. This role involves visible presence, conducting routine patrols, and interacting with the campus community to support a welcoming atmosphere. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within an educational environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using training and judgment to address security-related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings and perimeters to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter inappropriate behavior and provide reassurance to those on site.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and report all security-related incidents according to established protocols.
• Work collaboratively with campus personnel and local authorities as needed for incident response and resolution.
• Perform access control duties to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activities on the property.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports documenting patrols, incidents, and observations during assigned shifts.
• Adhere to all Allied Universal policies, procedures, and standards while maintaining professionalism at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
