Our client is looking for a Paid Search Specialist to join their Digital Marketing team in Culver City, Los Angeles. As a Paid Search Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, building, and managing paid search PPC (pay-per-click) campaigns in selfservice SEM platforms (Google, Bing, and other search engines). Along with campaign planning and setup in platform, you will be tasked with continually finding ways to improve performance efficiency through ongoing optimization. Your focus will be indepth analysis leading to actionable insights, trend spotting, strategic pacing, and performance optimization of the paid search channel. On this team, you will work hand-in-hand with digital marketing strategy, ad ops, analytics, and measurement teams to deliver end-to-end execution and performance management of paid search campaigns. To be successful in this role, you should have experience defining and measuring short- and long-term marketing success across paid search, and have a strong passion for data storytelling.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, launch, and optimize SEM campaigns across Google Ads, SA360, Microsoft Ads, Marin, and Skai/Kenshoo.
  • Build keyword lists, analyze search query reports, and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Develop and test high-performing ad copy; review landing page experiences and conversion funnels to enhance performance.
  • Manage trafficking, tagging, and data tracking in collaboration with the data and operations teams.
  • Maintain campaign budget trackers, ensuring accurate pacing, forecasting, and quarterly reconciliations.
  • Analyze campaign structure and performance via internal dashboards and platform tools.
  • Partner with analytics and strategy teams to validate performance, run A/B tests, and refine campaign tactics.
  • Prepare and present campaign performance insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience managing paid search campaigns.
  • Deep understanding of SEM strategy, optimization, and performance measurement.
  • Proficiency in major search platforms (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, SA360, Marin, Skai/Kenshoo).
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with tagging, tracking, and reporting methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for continuous learning and staying ahead of paid search trends and best practices.
