Apply to the OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY COMPLIANCE MANAGER position now! Job Description Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative has an immediate opening for an Occupational Safety Compliance Manager. This position reviews and coordinates all aspects of the organization's safety program including, but not limited to, regulatory compliance, safety audits and inspections, incident investigations, and training. Will review, revise, develop, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of all safety practices, policies, procedures, and programs. Candidates are required to have a four-year degree or equivalent, with emphasis on occupational safety and health. OSHA 30 HR for General Industry, Certified Medic First Aid and CPR Instructor preferred. Candidates must be proficient in computer skills and the Microsoft Suite of applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Practical application of job training and safety skills, demonstrated knowledge of the investigative process, demonstrated skills in public speaking and writing are also required. The starting salary range for this position is $93,200 - $120,700. SMECO offers an excellent benefits program including a 401k 6% dollar for dollar match and additional 3% non-elective company contribution.
