OverviewThe Windows, Platform & Developer (WPD) team, a part of the Windows + Devices (W+D) engineering organization, is looking for a Software Engineer II to join with us to build and ship Windows Desktop/operating systems(OS). We are part of developer & experience team which is responsible for building tech to empower developer ecosystem and shipping cutting edge experiences in Windows. You will play a key role in open-ended explorations, prototyping and influencing business opportunities for future customers of Windows. ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, debug, and stabilize platform level components to support windows desktop OS.Work closely with partner teams in Office, Services, other Windows partners.Become proficient on the existing architectures and codebases.Collaborate and communicate effectively with other engineers, program managers and data scientists working on the project.Embody our culture and values. | |
