Remove trash and cardboard and deposit in compactor and baler and conduct other maintenance functions. Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities: Operates a snowblower and shovel to remove snow and ice from decks, walkways. Operate trash compactor and cardboard baler. Must present a neat, clean and safe appearance and deal with guests and owners in a pleasant, service-oriented manner. Operates a snowblower and shovel to remove snow and ice from decks, walkways. Utility Worker will perform other maintenance duties as needed or as directed by Facility and Grounds Manager. Secondary Responsibilities: Must have or be willing to obtain extensive knowledge of Schweitzer Mountain Resort facilities and activities. Will initiate guest contact on a daily basis to ensure their comfort, answer questions and provide general assistance whenever possible. Duties are listed as guidelines and this position is not necessarily limited to these items. Education/Related Experience: Minimum education required - English reading, writing, communication and basic math. Minimum time in related position - Entry Level License Needed - Valid drivers license insurable by New Schweitzer LLC Equipment and Safety/Protective Equipment Used: Hand and power tools, company vehicles.
