Stellar Solutions enables successful transition from development into Operations & Support for SSC space systems under the GSIS contract.



Role/Responsibilities/Qualifications

Guide transition planning from production/acceptance to IOC/FOC and sustainment. Coordinate across logistics, training, and ops stakeholders to ensure smooth handover and enduring mission performance.

    Plan and support transition to Operations & Support (IOC/FOC milestones).

  • Coordinate logistics and sustainment activities, product support strategy inputs, and contract touchpoints.

  • Develop integrated plans/schedules, decision briefings, and risk management artifacts.

  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings; drive actions to closure across SE&I tasks.

  • Communicate status and decisions with government clients and teammates.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years in DoD acquisition lifecycle management or operations per ILM.

  • Experience planning/executing transition to O&S (IOC/FOC) and sustainment activities.

  • Experience developing integrated schedules, briefings, and risk products.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills; mission-focused.

  • Bachelor's degree.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in ILM or operations.

  • Product Support strategy and sustainment contract experience.

  • Satellite operations familiarity.

  • Confluence/Jira; writing skills for SE/program documentation.

  • Knowledge of MILSATCOM/GPS space, ground, or user segment.

  • TS clearance; Master's degree; PMP/ESEP/CSEP/OCSMP certifications.

Tools & Collaboration:

  • Microsoft 365; Confluence/Jira; standard SE&I collaboration suites.

Security Clearance & Other Requirements:

  • Secret clearance required; TS preferred.


Location

This position is located in Colorado Springs, CO (on-site/hybrid) * Travel as needed (typically <10-15%)

The typical salary range for this position is USD $145,000 - $175,000 per year. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, retirement plan and other benefits (all in addition to salary).



Deliverable(s)

Deliverables will be in the format of reports, briefings, spreadsheets, or other documents as directed by the Government, using government approved and/or mandated systems/software and processes governed by guidance/instructions/policy or direction.
