A local and growing credit union in Albuquerque, NM is urgently hiring Accounts Resolution Specialists to join their team! This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced collections professionals who are passionate about helping members and thrive in a supportive, mission-driven environment. *** Position Highlights:* * Role: Accounts Resolution Specialist (Soft Collections) * Pay: $18.00-$20.00/hour * Start Date: ASAP - ideally by November 10th * Location: Fully onsite in Albuquerque, NM * Contract: 3-4 months with potential for permanent placement based on performance *** What You'll Do:* * Engage with members via phone, email, and mail to resolve delinquent accounts * Provide education and support on payment options and hardship programs * Manage portfolios across 30, 60, 90+ day delinquency and mortgage accounts * Collaborate with auction partners for collateral remarketing * Recommend appropriate actions including payment extensions, modifications, or charge-offs *** What We're Looking For: * * High School Diploma (required) * 1-3 years of experience in collections or member services within a credit union or bank * Strong verbal and written communication skills * A respectful, persuasive, and empathetic approach to collections *** Benefits (if eligible):* * Medical, dental & vision insurance * 401(k) with pre-tax and Roth options * Life and disability insurance * Health Spending Account (HSA) * Transportation benefits * Paid time off and leave programs * Employee Assistance Program *** Application Deadline: ASAP by 11-5! * If you're ready to join a team that values integrity, community, and growth, we'd love to hear from you!
