Qualifications

POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Assists the Director of Business Development in developing and implanting a strategic plan to promote the services offered at Holly Hill Hospital to all potential referral sources in a manner consistent with the Mission and Vision of the hospital, with primary activities targeted to the Triangle area and its adjacent counties, and regional activities as assigned by the Department Director.
  • Coordinates with the Admissions Department (Respond) on-going updates of the HMS Referral Source Data Base
  • Coordinates with the Admissions Department efforts to follow up with all referral sources regarding referrals and admissions
  • Effectively works with other Hospital Department Heads in the development, education and implantation of the Hospital's Strategic Marketing Plan

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Training:

Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Human Service field (e.g. Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, etc.); Master's Degree in Behavioral Health Field Preferred.

Experience:

2 years experience in combined clinical /marketing, sales or contract services in the mental health field; Behavioral Health Hospital experience preferred.

Licensure/Certification:

  • Current North Carolina Driver's License

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of behavioral health field, including familiarity with services provided to mental health, substance abuse and developmentally disabled population, with a working knowledge of DSM methodology
  • Working knowledge with using electronic systems to develop and maintain referral source data bases
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Effective Educational, Group Leadership and Public Speaking skills
  • Skills in interpreting and applying standards and regulations applicable to programs and services
  • Organizational, time management, problem solving, crisis management and team building skills
  • Basic fiscal management skills
  • Flexibility, creativity, and stress management skills
