Auria is looking to hire a
Systems Engineer to support the Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program. This role is onsite in Colorado Springs, CO or Huntsville, AL, and plays a critical role in supporting the U.S. President, the Secretary of Defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:
The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program is a vital component of the Missile Defense System. It provides a critical operational platform that allows the U.S. president, the secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and tactical levels to systematically plan missile defense operations, monitor battle progress, and actively manage networked sensors and weapon systems to achieve global and regional mission goals. C2BMC offers a layered missile defense capability, delivering an optimized response to threats across all ranges and flight phases. It functions as a force multiplier by connecting, integrating, and synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations both worldwide and locally to enhance overall performance. Additionally, C2BMC is an essential part of all ground and flight tests that verify and demonstrate the missile defense system's current and future capabilities.
Develops and publishes corporate automation plans using cost-effective delivery technologies to support major corporate strategies. Performs complex software design activities that incorporate multiple technologies. Provides architectural guidelines for all software design efforts in current and future technological environments. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of technologies, planning, design, and analysis methodologies. Is responsible for the design and architectural standards for current and future software technological initiatives Essential Functions:
