What You Can Expect As our Controls Engineering, Intern , you will gain hands-on experience supporting the development and validation of power plant control (PPC) systems. You will assist in developing the PSCAD model for the BroadView PPC Controller, create models suitable for use in hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulators, and develop test cases to evaluate controller performance. Additionally, you will conduct simulation testing and validation of control functions to ensure system reliability and alignment with project requirements. This internship provides valuable exposure to advanced power system modeling, control logic testing, and real-world applications in renewable energy integration. This internship opportunity is based in Houston, TX, and spans three months, from January 5, 2026 to May 29, 2026. You will report to the Controls Engineering Director. Compensation Hourly Range: $28.50 - 35.50 USD hourly This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
