JOB/BID ANNOUNCEMENT Support Services Coordinator Department of Family and Support Services Children Services Number of Positions: 5 (additional vacancies possible pending budget approval) Starting Salary: $73,140 New hires are paid the starting rate. Current employees' pay is determined by their job title and years of service Applications for this position will be accepted until 11:59pm CDT on 1/06/2026 This position is open to the public and all current City employees covered under the City's collective bargaining agreement with AMERICAN FEDERATION OF STATE, COUNTY, AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES (AFSCME) - BARGAINING UNITS 1, 3, 4 & 5. Select your correct bargaining unit, upload your resume, and complete the application The Support Service Coordinator in the Quality Unit of the Children Services Division will be responsible for program development, support, and quality improvement programs for sub-recipients and partner sites, addressing any complex and technical support needs. Support Service Coordinator will manage professional development and training, registration, and approval process provided by our support service contractors for DFSS-CSD delegate agencies. The Support Services Coordinator in Data is responsible for supporting data management, compliance monitoring, and reporting to ensure high-quality service delivery for early childhood programs. This position plays a key role in maintaining data integrity, analyzing program performance, and assisting with system improvements to support CEL programs mission of serving children and families. Minimum Qualifications * Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, Social Sciences, or a directly related field, plus two (2) years of work experience in education or social service
Should the above criteria not be fulfilled, the following options are acceptable: * Six (6) years of work experience in education or social service OR * Graduation from an accredited college with an Associate's degree in Early Childhood, Education, Social Sciences or a directly related field, plus four (4) years of work experience in education or social service OR * Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree or higher in Early Childhood, Education, Social Sciences or a directly related field, plus one (1) year of work experience in education or social service Selection Criteria This position requires applicants to complete an interview.
