Position Title: Production Associate Wage: $17.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm Reached a dead end at your current job? Check out how this position can create a new path! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Production Associate at a company in Libertyville, IL. This is a potential to hire position for 1st shift. Apply now! Production Associate Responsibilities: - Locate, pick and organize specific parts and materials based on work orders or picking lists - Assemble components into complete kits for production or shipment - Perform in-process and final inspections on kits, parts and products - Verify accuracy, completeness, and quality per specifications - Visually inspect components for physical damage, proper labeling and dimensional accuracy - Ensure all assemblies meet defined standards before release - Accurately record inspection results and maintain required documentation - Identify and report non-conformances, and complete relevant test reports or paperwork - Move components and finished kits to and from designated areas safely and efficiently - Use proper handling techniques and equipment as required - Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols and company policies - Maintain compliance with relevant industry standards and governmental regulations - Keep workstations clean, organized, and free from safety hazards - Participate in 5S or other lean manufacturing practices as needed Requirements for Production Associate: - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Manual dexterity - Familiarity with tools like calipers, micrometers, or gauges preferred - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Ability to work with inventory systems, inspection software or digital records - Ability to read and understand work instructions, drawings and quality specifications - Ability to stand, bend and lift materials during shift (may include lifting up to 50lbs) gurnee@qpsemployment.com IND019 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
