Valiant is looking for a skilled Guard I to join our team! ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Controlling all access to the building. Will confirm security status of all individuals who enter the building and issue the required badge. Update and maintain an accurate security clearance lists when provided by the appropriate authorities. Ability to multi-task and maintain a confident demeanor at all times while dealing with high volumes of customer through puts / traffic, daily conflict scheduling resolution. Ability to maintain extreme professionalism and positive customer service skills interfacing with the Government customer, to include Senior Military Leadership as well as industry partners. Will be responsible for the cleanliness of the guard station. Answering the telephone and responding to requests Compile simulator schedule data Maintain access logbooks Responsible to report any irregularities or problems to the Site Manager for resolution. The access control guard will perform other tasks as assigned by the Site Manager or his designated representative Other duties as assigned. Pay Rate: The rate for this position is $21.60/hr. Requires mental alertness and ability to follow written and verbal instructions given in English. Must present a professional appearance in dress and demeanor at all times. Must be able to work well with all levels of Military and Civilian personnel. Must be computer literate and be able to use and access basic computer programs (Microsoft products, Excel, PDF, etc.) Possess the ability to secure a US Passport. EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent certificate. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds. Physical requirements may include, but are not limited to, lifting, ascending, and descending stairs, climbing, extended sitting or standing, to various degrees. Physical ability to walk, stand, and/or sit for extended periods of time, and to climb two (2) stairs is required.
