This position will have interchangeable locations between Hillcrest and La Jolla based on business needs.

DESCRIPTION

Reviews and reconciles all incoming deposits; addresses errors. Provides assistance to patients. Trains and assists with implementing cashiering procedures. Receives and records cash from clinics. Reconciles cash receipts and prepares daily deposits. Maintains filing systems for deposits, payment batches, refunds and transfers. Assists with other related administrative support tasks as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Administrative/clerical/office assistant experience or relevant experience.

  • Working knowledge of computerized business needs accounting systems with the ability to access, utilize and process information.

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, etc., and web-based computer applications.

  • Must be experienced and proficient with Excel.

  • Must be detail-oriented and demonstrate the ability to organize tasks in a high volume environment.

  • Ability to reconcile and balance accounts.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills including tact, courtesy, diplomacy and a cooperative attitude.

  • Fast and accurate key entry skills.

  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills.

  • Skills in organizing and prioritizing work assignments and large volumes of paperwork to meet department deadlines.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Some college education.

  • Previous experience handling large sums of tender, preferably in an environment that is customer facing with frequent interruption.

  • Knowledge of UC San Diego Oracle ERP and Premier Connect financial systems.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS
  • Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.

  • Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $53,160 - $75,335 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $25.46 - $36.08

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
