Kleinschmidt has a full-time opening for a Senior Scientist to support ecological assessments and water management projects in Portland, Oregon. California will also be considered. Our flexibility and core value of relationships allow us to offer employees the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment including working from the office and remotely. Salary: $115,000 - $130,000/year (based on experience) Who You Are An experienced Aquatic Scientist with a MS or PhD in Aquatic Ecology, Hydrology, Environmental Science, or a related field. Experienced: 10 years of field experience in streamflow measurement and habitat surveys. Experience with statistical analysis and ecological modeling (R, Python preferred). Familiarity with environmental flow standards and water management regulations. Knowledgeable: Knowledge of water rights frameworks and instream flow policy. Strong knowledge of streamflow dynamics and aquatic species-habitat relationships. Excellent technical writing and communication skills. Additional Requirements
