Research Assistant III

• Develop conceptual approaches to push forward a project
• Familiar with protein analysis, molecular biology and plasmid construction
• Independently decide which techniques may be appropriate for specific experimental investigations and carries out those experiments with minimal supervision or independently.
• Critically evaluates experimental results independently and provides summaries and interpretation of results to PI
• Contributes to the team within and between departments and organizations.
• Coaches RA I and RA II, interns, Co Ops on basic lab techniques.
• Calculates, graphs, and compiles data obtained, maintaining records and logs of work performed; uses computer to perform statistical analyses.

• A Bachelor's Degree is required, Masters Degree is preferred.

• 3 years of work expereince and a Bachelor's is required, one year of work expereince and a Master's is preferred.

The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
