Construction Project Inspector

Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily on-site inspections of construction/maintenance projects to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Provide Quality Assurance, Construction Management, and Construction Inspection Services Support
- Provide inspection Services and tracking for Preventative Maintenance activities
- Verify the quality of materials, workmanship, and processes used on construction sites in alignment with DoD, and commercial/industrial standards.
- Document and report inspection findings, including deficiencies or non-compliant work, and follow up to ensure corrections are made.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address any construction issues or deviations from project plans.
- Review and interpret construction plans, drawings, and contracts to ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Prepare and maintain detailed records and reports of all inspections, tests, and related activities.

Education, Experience and Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED (Required). Associate's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- 10 years' experience in facilities engineering, construction, and/or repair experience in quality assurance and inspection of facilities (Required) and
- 5 years of specialized experience in the various general disciplines involved in the engineering/repair of facilities at a large military installation (Required)
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and standards (required).
- Certification as a Construction Inspector (e.g., ICC, ACI) (preferred).
- Proficiency in interpreting technical plans, blueprints, and project specifications (required).
- Must pass a pre-hire drug screen and background check.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements.
