Strategic Planning Lead, Worldwide Marketing (Remote)

This is a 12-month, full-time (40 hours/week), remote contract role within 100 miles of Cupertino, CA; Los Angeles, CA; New York, NY; and Seattle, WA.


Summary
We are seeking an experienced Strategic Planning Lead to translate market insights and business objectives into actionable marketing strategies that drive both near-term impact and long-term growth. This role plays a critical part in fiscal planning, program incubation, and the measurement of global marketing initiatives, ensuring marketing investments are optimized and aligned to business goals.

  • 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, marketing strategy, business strategy, or related functions
  • Passion for marketing strategy with a strong foundation in analytics, research, and financial planning
  • Proficient in fiscal planning, budget management, forecasting, and performance measurement
  • Familiar with research methodologies, experiment design, and marketing measurement frameworks
  • Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional partners including analytics, finance, marketing, and creative teams
  • Able to work independently while managing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives
  • Flexible and adaptable in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strategic thinker with a balanced analytical and creative mindset


Job Description
In this role, you will lead strategic planning efforts that guide the development, incubation, and scaling of global marketing initiatives. You'll partner closely with analytics, finance, and marketing leadership to evaluate opportunities, forecast impact, and optimize investments throughout fiscal cycles.

This includes developing insights roadmaps, monitoring performance pacing, managing budget processes, and delivering clear, data-driven recommendations to stakeholders. You will also support the design of measurement approaches for new programs and ensure marketing activity aligns with and demonstrably impacts broader business objectives.


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Background in marketing strategy, analytics, finance, or research-driven disciplines
  • Advanced degree (MBA or similar) preferred
  • Experience within technology, digital platforms, digital media, or gaming environments preferred


Additional Requirements
This opportunity is remote within 100 miles of Cupertino, CA; Culver Citty, CA; New York, NY; and Seattle, WA and is remote in nature

The pay for this W-2 position is $93.00 per hour.

This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
