The Assistant Operations Manager - Asset Execution plays a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective terminal operations. This role provides operational leadership across labor, equipment, and yard activities, balancing real-time decision-making with disciplined execution to maximize productivity and minimize terminal turn-time. Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Operations Superintendent, you will be accountable for overseeing daily terminal operations and labor execution. Key responsibilities include: * Ensuring all daily work assignments are completed safely and effectively by Foremen/Chief Supervisors and hourly union labor We're looking for a hands-on operational leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and can make sound decisions under pressure. You bring a strong safety mindset, operational discipline, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing conditions while keeping people and performance front and center. You are comfortable leading union labor environments, communicating clearly, and taking ownership of outcomes. You balance structure with flexibility and remain calm, focused, and decisive when it matters most. Required Qualifications* High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred * Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills This role is primarily performed outdoors in an active terminal environment. The position requires standing and walking for extended periods, climbing, balancing, and working around moving equipment. The role involves lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and exposure to varying weather conditions, noise, and operational hazards.
