This is a position with WM Technologies, LLC and affiliate of SPX Enterprises, LLC, which manufactures and sells Weil-McLain branded products. Weil-McLain is a leading North American brand of hydronic comfort heating systems for residential, commercial, and institutional buildings since 1881.

SUMMARY

Fabricate parts in accordance with standardized work instructions. The position requires personnel to hang, remove, insulate and pack parts. Additional requirements are cleaning of the paint room, paint booths, and hangars. Personnel must qualify on at least one task and the upstream and downstream task.

Position Responsibilities:

  1. Hang, remove, insulate and pack parts.
  2. Clean paint room, paint booths, and hangars.
  3. Follows standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  4. Stacks and arranges products and packed containers into crates, boxes, and cartons.
  5. Perform First Piece inspection as needed.
  6. Clean equipment, tools and gauges to ensure they are safe and orderly at all times
  7. Work on other Fabrication and paint equipment as needed.
  8. Ensure that parts are properly inventoried and communicate with support departments daily.
  9. Ability to conduct paint changeover and set up the paint booth to proper specification for color change.
  10. Ability to turn the line on/off and make proper adjustments on line speed based on parts.

The most qualified candidates will demonstrate the following:

  • Must be able to understand and follow standardized work instructions.
  • Must be able to identify differences in standardized work instructions and inconsistencies in parts and
  • Be willing to stop the line.
  • Must be able to bend, lift, and stand for long periods of time (2 hours).
  • Must be able to use Air Tools.
  • Tasks are clear-cut and related. There is little choice in deciding what to do or how to do it.
  • Level of complexity is low.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Must be able to bend, lift, and stand for long periods of time (2 hours).
  • Moderately strenuous (Often lifts 25-50 pounds).
